Son, Thou Art Ever With Me

The world is not your Home because I AM. In me You live eternally, as I ever abide within each one of you. There is no world if I Am all that is, and in this Light there can be nothing else. All that I ask is that you may abide within this I that abides within you in conscious awareness. For mere feats of the intellect can no more reach Me than can a tiny ant grasp rocket science. I Am beyond the scope of intellect, nor mind nor speech can reach My Dwelling-Place.

The Universal Experience is the Revelation in which argument must disappear before dawning upon the mind that believed in conflicting truths. Only illusions battle, and whilst you insist on attacking or defending your cherished position and think that you can somehow triumph in this war of words, the goal of peace cannot be realized. Since peace is the motivating factor for learning this Course, not knowledge itself, can the course of proving that you are right make any sense, or fail to hold you back?

The Course is simple for it seeks to bring to your troubled hearts peace and to your minds serenity the world could never give. Do you want peace, or would you rather play pretend that you are far superior to those who interpret it differently? Their path is theirs, just as your own is yours, and if there be errors within your mind or in your brother's, they will gently be corrected by the Voice that speaks for Me. What more need you know now when you are told that I, your Father, know your deepest need, and tell you everything you need to know and when you need to know it. Leave behind the battleground of conflict and return to Me, the Home in which you still abide.

On Salvation

        

          Baptize the material sense in the pristine waters of Christed consciousness. There never was a power beside God, the Good; never a law not subject to His Sovereignty. The ego is a thought of lawlessness, reflected in a world of want and need; of misery and death.  It bids you take shelter under its “laws” that are not sourced in God's protecting Laws. But safety there cannot be found, as they are based on punishment, which drove mankind out of the Garden originally. 

          Seek not salvation where it is not found, but let us return to our Father’s House, and boldly come before the Throne of God, to ask for our inheritance—and not to squander it, but only that we may serve better the world as we serve ourselves. Salvation is a Gift meant to be shared, until such time when it is recognized Salvation’s opposite does not exist. Then what time seemed to be will be no more; a depressing duration in which God was seen as absent from experience; a dissatisfying and ongoing unholy instant, wherein we must search in vain without for gifts with which to fill a hole perceived to be within our hearts. Each gift but made the hole even wider, the darkness deeper. Be you thankful that this void need not any longer be filled, but left behind in mercy on yourself.

          Be grateful that your Father did not will salvation rest on the impossible. An infinite abyss cannot be filled, for it is but a false creation. This is Salvation’s keynote: what is unreal needs not be tended to in any way, in any shape nor form. In leaving it behind, we but abandon our own death; the crucifixion wrought by our own hands.

          Releasing our attachment to the cross, we drop the burden of imagined sin, and return again to the world of form, sharing the message of resurrection:  Peace be with you. It is but peace you seek; it is the journey’s completion. It is complete this moment; now, if you so wish. Such is the power of your desiring; a power that must needs be respected if you would have undone for you that which was never done in Truth. God goes with you. What could you ever fear if this were true?

          You could not make an illusory world that shut God out. Really, all that you did was fantasize his absence. Recognize with gladness this is true, for it is in this Knowledge that the whole Atonement lies. The All-encompassing cannot be kept apart in any time, in any place nor condition. For God’s infinitude cannot be checked anymore than can yours. The ego can delay you but a short while longer; for you are awakening to the fact that, as it was born of pain, it is but pain it offers with its "gifts".

The Answer

         In darkness you have wandered through the world, seeking an answer where none could be found. The search has been most wearisome, and there were moments when you thought you lost your way. The Answer that you have is what you are, and in that Knowledge does your being rest, abiding in the calm of certainty. A miracle of grace is given you today, that through your hands the world may come to know the healing power of God’s Love. It is not He who caused your suffering. The only thing He Wills is your release. His Answer is not recognized while still you heed your own, in hopes that it may yet accomplish the impossible, although all past attempts to pull this off have failed.

         Hear not the ego's raving madness now, and turn in peace unto the Word of God. This Word cannot be written on a page, nor could all books of earth transmit its Truth. In silence hear it speak to you of Love, and Peace, and all the Joy you sought to find in meaningless pursuits that end in death. Swear not to die, you holy Son of God, but hearken now unto the Word of Life that shines eternal in your Godlike mind. You do not listen for yourself alone. God needs your listening, for as you hear, His Answer will be echoed round the world. He needs your voice; he needs your hands and feet, but most of all he needs your listening.

Your brother needs you also; hear him call in plaintive tones asking but for your help. Why should you hesitate to take his hand, in need as he most obviously is? He calls for love to you who can supply the love he thinks he lacks within the dream of separation, death, and scarcity. You are the savior in his dream and he is savior in your own, as you allow God’s healing Presence to embrace you both. While you withhold your lilies, both of you remain in hell, absorbed in fantasies of sickness that your wrong minds seem to share. And yet you are alone within the dream without a strong protector by your side as both he and yourself defend the dream of specialness with guile and with strife.

Out of this bleak arena of despair, where vicious animals seek out their prey, Christ beckons unto you and gently says,  “My brother, choose again what you would have.” If you desire peace, share it. If you would welcome love into your heart, see it as emanating from your brother’s. If you want forgiveness, offer it to him. For as you give, you shall receive in kind. The Father is awaiting our return, so let us rise in haste today and find the Answer that replaces not the dream with yet another, but is end to all of them. Brother, awaken and be glad. The night is over; now the light has come.
